About This Episode
From their beginnings in NEPA to recording across long distances, Burial Ground looks back on the relationships that keep the band connected. We discuss returning to writing and how technology helped bring their latest release together.
We also hear how a live tape from 1996 became the foundation for “Forever Friends.” Using AI tools, the band recovered vocals by their late friend Jamie White, giving them a chance to include his voice on a new recording.
The conversation turns to Hardcore For Husvar, a benefit honoring Neil Husvar through music, mental health advocacy, and scholarships. The band discusses its connection to NAMI and the community behind the event. At the time of recording, the show was scheduled for July 25, 2026, at St. Mary’s Center in Scranton.
This episode brings together local music history and a personal conversation about remembering friends through the work they leave behind.
