Episode 117 of The Popko Project Podcast features Pete Palladino and Bret Alexander of The Badlees, a roots rock band from Pennsylvania. Brought to you by Keller’s Garden Center/Keller’s Lawn Care And Landscaping Services LLC, Ionic Development, The V-Spot Bar in Scranton, and Axelrad Screen Printing.

It’s safe to say that The Badlees are back! They’ll be performing live this Friday at the F.M. Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre along with Joe Burke and Co. and Dustin Douglas and the Electric Gentlemen to celebrate the release of their new self titled record due out the same day.

In addition to the upcoming show and album release we get into a little bit of the history of the band and the national success they received including the different faces that graced the band over the years and what brought the original band members back together.

It’s no secret that the music industry is a different animal today than it was when the original members made music together last. And so we also talk about what the future holds for The Badlees and much more.

As someone who was a teenager when I was first introduced to The Badlees by my mother, it was a great honor to have been given the time from Pete and Bret for this interview. I, like many people in central and northeastern PA, am excited to have the band back together making music again.
