Ep 32: John Phillips, musician turned entrepreneur
/

Welcome to episode 32 of The Popko Project podcast where I’m joined by a dear friend of mine, John Phillips.

He’s what I call a musician turned entrepreneur. He’s been in successful cover bands, original bands and he currently managages a few bands local to the Northeastern, Pennsylvania region. He’s even tour managed for bands like Breaking Benjamin, STARSET, Body Count and Snoop Dogg’s crew.

We talk about his successful wedding and event business, MCR Productions, and his involvement with the 2021 Blue Ridge Rock Festival happening in Virginia this September.

We of course also discuss his new endeavor in the beverages game along with Aaron Bruch of Breaking Benjamin, Josh Balz, formerly of Motionless In White and current owner of business like The Strange and Unusual, Steamy Hallows, Batty Fang Salon & spa, and Noir Dark Spirits, and entrepreneur, Kris Jones (Special Guest App). They just launced Parlor Beverages where they’ll be introducing root beer, birch beer and butterscotch root beer to the masses in June 2021.

Welcome to the show, John Phillips.
