Ep 54: James Barrett
Welcome to episode 54 of The Popko Project podcast where I’m joined by James Barrett, a very talented musician out of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
James is releasing his new album titled, A Series of…Mostly Nothing, September 24th which will be available on all the streaming services as well as vinyl shortly after. He is also preparing for a big rock show happening the same day at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple.
We talk about the new full length album, recording it in what he calls “the tiny house”, prepping for his first big show in over a year, old school gorilla marketing to promote the show, being a musician during a worldwide pandemic, signing a record deal, his Twitter suspension, our future hot tub date, Moe’s Southwest Grill vs. Chipotle Mexican Grill and a whole lot more.
Please welcome to the show one of my favorite musicians and favorite people, James Barrett.
Brought to you Applied Botanics and Keller’s Garden Center, located near Blue Ribbon Dairy in Exeter, PA. #ad
