Ep 58: Borrowed Sparks

In episode 58 of The Popko Project podcast I sit down with Mike Bay of the band Borrowed Sparks from Nashville, TN.

In this episode I talk to Mike about his album, The Prettiest One Left, which is streaming everywhere as well as the upcoming release of a Tom Petty cover song called “Refugee” due out on November 5th with a live video to follow on November 9th.

I had a great time talking to Mike not only about his music, which by the way sounds very similar to THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM and Frank Turner, but also life in general.

Things like what it was like releasing a new album a week before the world shut down in the midst of a pandemic, the rising cost of gas, our love of late 90s bands, whiskey, parenthood, the pitfalls of the internet specifically social media and so much more.

If you get nothing else from this podcast outside of streaming his music, then I’ve done my job and that’s 100% more than I can ask for.
Welcome to the show Mike Bay of Borrowed Sparks.

Brought to you Ionic Development, Applied Botanics and Keller’s Garden Center, located near Blue Ribbon Dairy in Exeter, PA. #ad
