Episode 91 of The Popko Project podcast features Rick and Matt of the cover band (and original music artists), Nowhere Slow. Brought to you by Keller’s Garden Center/Keller’s Lawn Care And Landscaping Services LLC , located in Exeter PA near Blue Ribbon Dairy, The V-Spot Bar in Scranton and Ionic Development. In this episode, we learn about the history of the band which dates back to it’s origination in 2003.

From original tunes to cover songs, they’ve become a staple for Scranton Parade day, a staple at Seacrets in Ocean City, Maryland and currently hold a residency at Woodloch Resort. We also find out how Rick got banned for life from Uber, I call out the guys in Lessen One for being haters, we bring up the band MESH, and we discuss battle of the bands.

From stories about nights at Tink’s in Scranton, Heil’s in Dunmore, traveling the east coast and more, it was a lot of fun to reminisce about the good ol’ days and find out what keeps the band on track.

And we answer questions from fans in the “Take a Shot” segment where we encourage listeners to take a shot and ask their questions, brought to you by the V-Spot in Scranton who are serving up shots, beers, great music and great food 7 days a week.
